VI may have been given to these pistols. Model VII is chambered in 9mm Largo and marked 9mm /38. The 1914 Ruby in 7.65 - 9 shot with checkered wood grips as made for the French in WWI. This gun had a change in the way the safety was made to the same look as the later model I above had.
