Cooking isn't permitted in Curry Village, but it does offer several very popular dining options. This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity. As already mentioned, the hard sided cabins at Curry are more like small motel rooms; some have bathrooms as well. The riverside units are great - but the entire campground wants to use that same stretch of beach and they do. If you really plan to hang out and cook at your cabin, though, Housekeeping is by far the better option. I would love to get some comments on which lodging is nicer, not necessarily more luxurious because we are fine with camping at a regular campsite, just couldn't find availability this soon. These days, you see mostly young and old couples camping - fewer kids. All food and food related items (including coolers) and any product with a scent (including soap, toothpaste, chapstick and deodorant) must be stored in the bear-proof lockers.
